Creating New Opportunities in Cloud Technology, RSi Makes the OnCloud 50 List

Retail Solutions Inc., a global provider of cloud-based, Big Data analytics and real-time intelligence for the consumer-products industry, today announced that it has been named to the sixth annual AlwaysOn OnCloud 50 Companies to Watch list (formerly known as the OnDemand 50 Companies to Watch). Inclusion on the highly selective and sought-after list signifies RSi’s ability to leverage its technologies and apply fresh, strategic thinking for building a robust and sustainable business while helping bring the world's leading enterprises to the cloud.

This year’s OnCloud 50 Companies to Watch were selected based on a set of five criteria: innovation, market potential, commercialization, stakeholder value, and media buzz. OnCloud Companies to Watch winners were selected from among hundreds of other technology companies nominated by investors, bankers, journalists, and industry insiders. The AlwaysOn editorial team conducted a rigorous three-month selection process to find the 50 private companies that are bringing the cloud to the enterprise and the enterprise to the future.

Companies on the 2015 list represent a sophisticated ecosystem that is finding ways to deal with market segmentation, big data warehousing, virtualized networks, cybersecurity, and myriad infrastructure-related issues. Big data analytics and intelligence platforms like RSi continue to receive high-praise and recognition for empowering executive managers to make informed, data-driven decisions, and as a result, reducing costs and optimizing efficiency. RSi was one of the first solution providers to take advantage of the cloud to drive differentiation in the CPG market. Today, its platform is used by more than 500 leading CPG companies to solve inventory issues and ensure products are on the shelf in every store, every day.

“We are honored to be recognized by OnCloud for our product innovation and for our pioneering embrace of the cloud to transform billons of daily downstream data points into actionable insights for our clients without software licenses, headcount, hardware and other fixed costs,” said Jonathan Golovin, Chairman and CEO of RSi. “As more consumer behavior data enters the enterprise, only the cloud can offer the scalability and performance needed to derive new insights, find new business opportunities, easily integrate with other systems, and keep costs down.”

RSi and other companies to watch were honored at the AlwaysOn’s 6th annual OnCloud event held on Feb. 26, 2015 at the College of San Mateo in Palo Alto, Calif. The exclusive event brought together the brightest minds in cloud technology for a lively exchange on the top trends and the most lucrative entrepreneurial opportunities in business-to-business applications, cloud infrastructure and security.
