Tindall Associations (TAI) Appoints New Leadership and Board of Directors
Orland Park, IL (PRWEB) March 01, 2015 -- Tindall Associates (TAI), the U.S. market leader in life reinsurance software and consulting services, recently acquired by a new joint venture of msg global solutions and LOGiQ³ is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Freitas as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Mitch Ocampo as Executive Vice President (EVP). Former CEO and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Tim Kuhn, and Steve Jerger will retain key leadership roles on a go-forward basis. Kuhn will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer and Jerger as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). These new roles are effective immediately.
In addition, as a result of the recent acquisition, a new Board of Directors has been elected consisting of two msg global solutions and two LOGiQ³ representatives.

Tom Freitas, CEO, TAI
Freitas holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston College and an MBA from Fordham University. He started his career in IT development in investment banking and has spent the last 17 years in the reinsurance industry specializing in Operations and IT management.
In his last corporate role as COO for SCOR Global Life Americas, he was responsible for Operations and Information Technology supporting SCOR’s North and South America Life business. He has expertise in process control and improvement, insurance data and data quality, and how to combine operations, data, and IT into solutions for business problems and opportunities. Shortly after his departure from SCOR Global Life Americas, Freitas joined LOGiQ³ as a Senior Consultant.
In his new role as CEO of TAI, Freitas is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and for creating and implementing the strategic and tactical plans of the newly acquired organization.
Mitch Ocampo, EVP, TAI
As EVP, Ocampo is focused on product strategy and business development, working with staff and clients to realize the commercial vision of TAI in the marketplace. He is responsible for driving product innovation and ensuring the TAI platform continues to meet the changing needs of clients in the industry.
Ocampo started his career in Microsoft development, designing software for CCBN, a financial data company later acquired by Thomson Reuters. He joined EMC’s Global Services team in 2004, where he was first introduced to the reinsurance industry, tasked with developing an underwriting platform for a Bermuda-based reinsurer. He later served as Partner and Managing Director for Kogent Corp, before joining msg global solutions in 2011.
While at msg global solutions, Ocampo served as Managing Director and Head of Microsoft Delivery, where he held overall responsibility for the business unit. He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, and remains active in technology and project management.
