NBC Allegiance Star Scott Cohen Tells AfterBuzz TV Where His Allegiance Lies!
(PRWEB) March 01, 2015 -- NBC’s Allegiance star, Scott Cohen, chats with Maria Menounos’ AfterBuzz TV network with hosts Nicholas Grava and Lindsey Douglas. Allegiance follows a young, standout CIA analyst, Alex O’Connor, who is tasked with protecting the US from Russia’s attempt to take down the economy. Both of his parents (Scott Cohen and Hope Davis) are sleeper cell Russian spies and have just been activated to take him down.
Scott dished some insider information about his character Mark’s Allegiance. He explains, “keeping the family together, that’s where his [Mark’s] allegiance lies”. Scott also spoke about how “easy” it was to go to work with his costar, Hope Davis, describing her as “brilliant”!
Allegiance is currently being filmed in Scott’s hometown of NYC. When asked about how he enjoyed filming in New York, he described how the visceral response to the frigid temperatures and bustling energy of the city contributed to his performance. “New York is so alive… When you're shooting on the street you feel like you're in the world”. He continues, “It creates this feeling of an organic, natural, real feeling… I’m an actor [that likes] to feel the grit on [my] hands and the grit in the air. That feels like you're working and doing something worthwhile”.
Allegiance airs on Thursday nights on NBC.
