York Risk Services Group Earns Top TPA Ranking in DWC PAR Audit Report
Parsippany, NJ (PRWEB) March 02, 2015 -- York Public Entity, a Division of York Risk Services Group, announced that its Orange, CA, office received the highest ranking of any third party administrator (TPA) in the 2013 Profile Audit Review (PAR) Audit report recently released by the California Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC). York Public Entity is a leading provider of claims and risk management services to more than 6,000, public entities, many of them in California.
Each year the California DWC measures the claims handing performance of third party administrators, self-insureds and insurers against performance standards set annually by the DWC. Each audit includes a review of a random selection of indemnity and denied claims for each organization being evaluated. For each year’s assessments, the DWC designates a standard score which was required to pass an audit. Scores lower than the designated score indicate superior performance. The 2013 PAR Standard score was 1.70104 and York’s Orange office received a score of .30363, which was the 4th best score for the 70 audits conducted in 2013 and the highest score of any TPA.

York’s Sacramento office was also included in the 2013 audit, received a score of .90198, which was well above average.
