HiSoftware, a Cryptzone Company, Leads Discussions on Accessibility Compliance and Web Design at the 30th Annual CSUN Conference
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) March 02, 2015 -- Web compliance and governance is becoming a huge issue for companies today. Federal regulations such as Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and 508 standards, coupled with ever-changing consumer behavior, are creating challenges for publishers, software providers, content creators and service providers to stay current, marketable and legally compliant.
During CSUN, Ken Nakata, director of HiSoftware’s Accessibility Consulting Practice (ACP), will lead several discussions on designing for web accessibility and dealing with new regulations and compliance, so all elements of accessibility are taken into account. Nakata has spent more than 20 years working at the cross roads of the legal fight for accessibility and technology. He’s been a driving force in the industry, working closely with US Access Board to establish elements of WCAG and 508 regulations.
When Cryptzone acquired HiSoftware in September 2014, the company remained committed to the HiSoftware Compliance Sheriff product line to ensure customers can continue to depend upon the accessibility compliance and other governance features it provides for privacy and site quality. Nakata and the ACP team lead the charge daily for major corporations struggling with the issues of accessibility.
