GiftCards.com Wins Region’s Highest Recognition For Business Ethics

GiftCards.com, the leading online retailer of gift cards, announced it was awarded the 14th Pittsburgh Business Ethics Award for medium sized company in the greater Pittsburgh area.

The 14th awards ceremony was hosted by the Pittsburgh chapter of the Society of Financial Professionals, which attracted over 200 people at the Omni William Penn Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. Other winners included Gtech, for the small company category and Peoples Natural Gas, for large company category. These awards are designed to honor U.S. companies that demonstrate a firm commitment to ethical practices in their day-to-day operations, philosophies and response to crises and challenges.

Finalists for the Pittsburgh Business Ethics Awards are chosen through nomination and overall reputation and are evaluated on such criteria as demonstration of executive commitment to business ethics, clear communication of ethical standards to employees, consistently high quality of products and services, and a commitment to community and charitable involvement.
