Our personal food choices have a significant impact on our environment, and we’re constantly inspired to see how food and beverage brands within our network are making business decisions that drive real change.

1% for the Planet, one of the world’s largest environmental networks, will celebrate the addition of over 25 new business members at this year’s Expo West since last year’s Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, Calif. 1% for the Planet welcomes them and more, including Boulder Brands’ Earth Balance, which will join through its nut butter line.

Food - how we grow it, process it, distribute it, and dispose of waste - continues to be a complex environmental issue throughout the country and the world. Natural Products Expo West, the leading trade show in the natural, organic, and healthy products industry, provides the perfect opportunity for industry influencers and thought leaders to come together to identify better business practices and how they can engage consumers in the discussion. 1% for the Planet has over 100 businesses in the food and beverage industry, several of which will be attending Expo West, including: Mamma Chia, Klean Kanteen, Nature’s Path EnviroKidz, and King Arthur Flour. And the network welcomes over 25 new members since last year’s Expo West alone:
