Game Developers Conference will take place in San Francisco this week, from the 2nd - 6th of March 2015. The GDC will attract over 24,000 attendees with over 400 lectures, 8 summits, 900 speakers and lots of panels, tutorials and round-table discussions. Perhaps this GDC will gather a record number of companies with XIMAD among them. XIMAD is a premium mobile publisher for US and European market mostly known by its flagship game Magic Jigsaw Puzzles.
XIMAD and its partner company XIM will host the 2423 booth. XIMAD will present two of its products: Magic Jigsaw Puzzles and a new one - Star Crusade, digital collectible card game. There will be company’s official representatives who will show presentations on the products and provide full information about offered solutions.
“Magic Jigsaw Puzzles is constantly updated collection of original puzzles with over 5000 virtual jigsaws. It’s not just a mobile puzzle game but we managed to create a full game service with user accounts, own puzzle store, social aspect and a sense of anticipation among users, says Olga Rozhnova, marketing manager at XIMAD. "In the first version different puzzle stood alone as a separate app united only by the name. Now there’re more than 5000 images in a singular app. There’s no need to download hundreds of images at once, due to puzzle shop players can choose the only ones they prefer. Players can create and manage accounts, save puzzle bundles, scores, and stats as well as restore previously deleted puzzle packs. Users can also create a puzzle from any image or photo they have.
“Star Crusade is absolutely new direction for our company. It’s a digital online multiplayer collectible card game with a unique space-themed game offers. We’ll preset its demo version for the first time on GDC. Everyone will have an opportunity to try the game and to take a picture with two big cutouts of game characters. The game differs a lot from everything we’ve been doing before as we mostly focus on puzzle and match-3 games. Our main auditory are women but we’re extending and are looking for new directions of our business. XIMAD has always been interested in quality games and modern directions in mobile business.
