Leasebreak.com Moves Out of Beta with Great Momentum in the NYC Rental Market
New York, New York (PRWEB) March 04, 2015 -- Leasebreak.com launched in late 2013 as a platform to connect those looking to break their lease with those looking for a short term rental, at no cost to the user. In the time since its beta release, Leasebreak has expanded to include in its marketplace all short term rentals of 1-12 months in duration, making Leasebreak a one stop shop for all leasebreaks and short-term rentals. In the process, it has built a successful community of more than 5000 registered users, most of whom are tenants searching for an apartment or posting available rentals to the website.
Currently, there are more than 700 active apartment listings on the site, which is frequented by tenants, landlords, and agents alike.
As a result of the feedback received from its users, Leasebreak made a number of improvements, added new features, and expanded into new markets. Some highlights include:
● ability to save searches and receive email alerts when new or updated listings match the saved criteria
● ability to promote listings on social media platforms
● automatic removal of listings that have not been kept current by the original poster
● creation of the weekly Leasebreak List (http://www.leasebreak.com/leasebreaklist), a free weekly email sent to thousands of tenants, brokers, and landlords showcasing the most recent short-term rentals and leasebreaks posted to the website
Leasebreak Founder and CEO Phil Horigan comments, “I could not be more pleased with Leasebreak.com’s performance this past year, as we have exceeded our original goals and expectations. When people use the site to either find or post their leasebreaks or short-term rentals, they tend to tell their friends and colleagues about it. In fact, word of mouth is still our most powerful marketing tool.”
Founded by Phil Horigan, Leasebreak.com is a free New York City marketplace for leasebreaks and short-term rentals. It was designed with tenants, landlords, and real estate agents in mind, allowing all groups to post and search for rentals on the website. Given its acceptance and success in the NYC market, Leasebreak.com is planning to expand to other regions in the near future.
