MPress Records Hosts MPressFest SXSW 2015
New York, NY (PRWEB) March 04, 2015 -- MPress Records is proud to present its 9th annual official SXSW party, MPressFest, named a “Winner” by SXSW Examiner. The party takes place at The Soho Lounge in Austin, Texas on Friday, March 20th at 12:00pm and features an exceptional line-up including Rachael Sage & The Sequins, A Fragile Tomorrow, The Sea The Sea, JP Hoe, Alanna Royale, and The Psycho Sisters. Sponsored by Independent Music Awards, M Music & Musicians Magazine, Blurt Magazine, Planetary Group, Almighty Retail, and Audio-Technica, this event is open to the public. This event is the NYC-based label’s 9th official day party; it will double as the official industry launch for flagship artist Rachael Sage's critically acclaimed 11th album “Blue Roses.” In addition, it will serve as a spotlight event for MPress Records' charity compilation series New Arrivals, the latest volume of which was featured on NY1 News and praised as "a solid collection of talented artists sharing their gifts for a great cause" by Renowned For Sound. Beneficiaries of the series have included World Hunger Year, National Network For Youth and National Eating Disorders Association, and featured artists have included Lucius, Jill Sobule, Glen Phillips, PHOX, and Paula Cole.
