Grizzly Ranch Golf Club Celebrates 10th Anniversary - Championship Course Opens April 24

(PRWEB) March 04, 2015 -- Grizzly Ranch Golf Club, a premier semi-private course ranked by Golf Digest in 2014 as the number one public course in the Sierra Nevada and number 11 public access course in all of California, is proud to announce its 10th anniversary. The Bob Cupp-designed championship course is set to open for the 2015 season on Friday, April 24.
Established in 2005, Grizzly Ranch celebrates its 10 year anniversary ranked alongside some of the most prestigious golf courses in all of California. The club offers numerous playing options such as, private golf memberships, 11- play passes, daily fee golf, group and twilight rates along with special spring rates. All abilities find this exceptional par 72 course both challenging and enjoyable.
In late 2012, the golf club welcomed new owners, all of whom are Grizzly Ranch property owners. The new owners’ passion for the enrichment of the club has led to enhancements to the entire facility, services and golf shop merchandise. The Golf Shop sports high-end cowboy boots in a multitude of colors, classic ranch wear, traditional golf attire including Cutter & Buck, Linksoul, Carnoustie, Monterey Club, SDI and Grizzly Ranch Private Label along with club souvenirs including club branded wine glasses and coffee mugs.
Grizzly Ranch Lake House offers daily lunch service, a full bar, beer on tap, a “sunken” bar and open air terrace overlooking the 18th green; it is the perfect place to stop and end a day on the greens. The Lake House also offers wide-screen televisions for those looking to catch parts of “a game”.

Spring special rates apply April 24 - May 21, 2015 and include thirty-six holes for $95 and eighteen holes for $80.
Prime season rates apply May 22 - Sept. 27, 2015. Regular green fees are $125. Twilight fee is $95 and begins at 2 p.m. NCGA Member special rate is $110 and $89 after 2 p.m. Same day replay rate is $50, and nine-hole rate is $50 and begins after 2:30 p.m. The junior rate for children 17 and under with a parent is $50.
Groups of 12 or more have a special rate of $105 per person.
All green fees include a golf cart and the use of the all grass practice facility which offers putting, chipping greens and bunker areas.
Nestled between the Sierra Valley and the million-acre Plumas National Forest in the Sierra Nevada Range, Grizzly Ranch offers a true mountain golf experience for players of all ages and experience. The 18-hole, par-72 course stretches more than 7,400 yards, and features five sets of tees to accommodate every level of player.

Play and Stay Packages at the onsite Wolf Tree Cabins, located along the 9th fairway, offer golfers a serene golf getaway. Two and three bedroom cabins are available, and each one boasts sprawling views of the course and mountains from their many windows and large decks.
