NEW YORK, NY (PRWEB) March 03, 2015 -- On Thursday, March 12, the annual Girls Inc. New York Luncheon – Celebrating Women of Achievement will salute five outstanding honorees who uniquely inspire girls to set goals and achieve their full potential and will be held at The New York Marriott Marquis.

The inaugural Champion for Girls Award will recognize a recipient, to be announced at the event, for her extraordinary strategic leadership and tireless efforts on behalf of girls.
Additionally, Girls Inc. will welcome Chelsea Clinton to discuss the No Ceilings Full Participation Report.
The event is chaired by Lori Dickerson Fouché, CEO of Prudential Group Insurance and hosted by Soledad O’Brien, award-winning journalist and CEO at Starfish Media Group.
“Every girl needs someone in her corner who demonstrates the incredible achievements girls and women can make and who supports her inner strengths and drive,” said Judy Vredenburgh, Girls Inc. President and CEO. “Our 2015 honorees are women who inspire the next generation of girls to seize new possibilities and envision successful futures. We are thrilled to recognize them and to welcome Ms. Clinton in furthering the critical role girls and women play in solving our world’s greatest challenges.”
Each honoree is paired with a Girls Inc. National Scholar who will speak about overcoming obstacles and share how the honoree’s incredible achievements and drive inspires them. The event raises funds to support Girls Inc. in expanding the reach of its educational programming and experiences across the United States and Canada.
