Portland Oregon (PRWEB) March 06, 2015
ORSWW Chapter of Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) has announced the speaker for its March General Membership Meeting, to be held on March 17, 2015 from 7:00 - 9:00 am at The Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC) in Portland Oregon.
ORSWW will host Lou Doctor, a Portland-based serial entrepreneur and angel investor. Three of his e-commerce ventures were recognized in Portland’s 100 Fastest Growing Companies list last year including the #1 spot, GolfClubs.com. He is a co-founder of Crowd Supply, a local crowdfunding platform and an investor in Handful, Edtl Handball and Quikline Fasteners, all local companies. Rapid changes are underway in how new products are brought to market and sold. Crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter, Indiegogo and Crowd Supply allow creators and companies to leverage the ‘wisdom of the crowd’ to produce better products with lower development costs. Once a project is successfully crowdfunded, additional channels open for pre-orders and direct consumer sale.
