Morris South to Hold an Open House and Technology Show at Its Huntsville, Alabama Tech Center, April 8-9, 2015
Windsor, Connecticut (PRWEB) March 10, 2015 -- Morris South, a division of Morris Group, Inc., will hold Southern Tech Fest, an open house and technology show, at its Huntsville, Alabama Tech Center, April 8-9, 2015. The regional machine tool distributor is the exclusive source of Okuma, Tsugami, Hardinge Group, and Chiron machine tools in the Southeastern U.S. The Huntsville office serves manufacturers of precision machined parts in Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, and the Florida panhandle.
“A dozen machines will be under power and performing live cutting demos,” states Joe Hunt, Regional Vice President/Huntsville, Morris South. “We’re focusing on ‘smart machining.’ Leading tooling and accessories suppliers, including software developers plus probing and gauging experts, will demonstrate how their products integrate with the CNC control and leverage information to optimize cutting processes and overall manufacturing operations.”
Open house hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. Lunch and refreshments will be available both days. Guests are kindly asked to pre-register. Doors open for registration at 8:45 am both days.
