Danbury, CT (PRWEB) March 06, 2015 -- The Morganti Group is proud to announce the hiring of Tom Ennis as Vice President of Operations for the firm’s Southeast region. Tom’s duties will include client and account management, business development, team leadership, operational oversight, training and support, and project financial and risk management. Tom will continue to be based in Orlando. He brings more than 30 years of upper management construction experience from large, national companies. In his previous roles, Tom managed the procurement and performance of projects, promoted respective brands, prepared sector-specific business plans, developed strategies and provided superior leadership to his teams.
Tom is a LEED Accredited Professional, a certified Florida General Contractor, as well as a registered contractor in the U.S. Virgin Islands. He is a graduate of the Advanced Leadership Program of Nova Southeastern University, a program that refines management and leadership capabilities. Tom is a certified instructor and coach for the Lore International Institute, which offers business development, leadership development, executive education, executive coaching and development. He is an alumnus of Leadership Orlando.
Tom has a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management at the University of Florida. He has over 30 years of commercial construction experience and a diverse background that includes field operations, business development, strategic roles in the acquisition of new business and expansion into new markets, as well as the management of institutional and commercial projects throughout Florida.
