Brunswick, GA (PRWEB) March 06, 2015 -- At the recent Golden Isles Association of Realtors (GIAR) 77th Annual Awards Gala, Holly Ponsell, Realtor at Hodnett Cooper Real Estate, Inc. was honored with the Rookie of the Year award.

Each year, GIAR accepts nomination ballots for Rookie of the Year. Eligibility criteria include a combination of factors including business accomplishments, high standard of ethics, civic activity and participation in the local association.

“I nominated Holly for the award because in all of my years as a Broker, she stands out as my most successful rookie agent to date,” said Pat Cooper, owner and broker at Hodnett Cooper Real Estate.

In 2014, Holly had fourteen sales for a total volume of $2.3 million and fifteen active listings. Holly actively participated in two series of Hodnett Cooper “Boot Camps, “ featuring custom curriculum designed to develop Hodnett Cooper Realtors at all levels of experience. Always willing to share her knowledge and experience, she has taken an active role in mentoring other new agents. She has been an invaluable resource to her many buyers and sellers. Holly has been active with the GIAR on the Strategic Planning Committee, Governmental Affairs Committee and Member Services Committee.

In addition to her dedication and work ethic at the office, Holly is a devoted mother to three children, helps her husband in his heating and air business and attends The Chapel in Brunswick most Sundays. “She keeps a lot of balls in the air and juggles them well,” says Cooper, “we are so glad to have Holly Ponsell on the Hodnett Cooper team and I am confident she has many, many more successful years ahead.”
