‘Making Funny Faces!’ - the official Red Nose Day 2015 Schools’ Song - Thousands of schools get involved!
London, England (PRWEB UK) 9 March 2015 -- ‘Making Funny Faces!’ - the official Red Nose Day 2015 Schools’ Song. Schools up and down the country will soon be preparing to raise money for Red Nose Day 2015, which is taking place on Friday 13th March. This year’s theme is Make Your Face Funny For Money.
Music is a great way of getting people together and songwriters Mark and Helen Johnson from music publisher ‘Out of the Ark’, have come up with a brilliant new song for Comic Relief’s big day. ‘Making Funny Faces’ is the official Red Nose Day 2015 Schools’ Song and is full of fab fun raising ideas for schools to adopt and use to raise money for this important charity.
Commenting on their partnership with Comic Relief, songwriters Mark and Helen Johnson said “Having written the last four songs for Comic Relief we are especially excited about this new one. It seems to hit the exact spot with young and old alike and is outrageously catchy. We hope thousands of primary schools will have great fun learning and performing ‘Making Funny Faces’ as part of their fundraising (or should that be fun raising!) activities on 13th March.”
Mark and Helen have been writing songs for schools for 25 years and their partnership with Comic Relief goes back 10 years. Their most recent song in 2014 was ‘Step It Up For Sport Relief’, the video of which has been viewed over 118,000 times on YouTube alone.
To encourage schools to participate this year Out of the Ark has produced a CD that’s full of fund raising ideas. It contains not only the song and an accompanying backing track but also a brilliant video featuring various schools using their creative skills to help raise money. Plus there’s a sing-along version with Words On ScreenTM interactive whiteboard lyrics included.
The best news of all is that this CD has been sent to virtually every primary school in the UK - so expect to see much fun and laughter on Red Nose Day. But be warned, the tune to ‘Making Funny Faces’ is incredibly upbeat and toe-tapping, and is destined to be sung in many a school playground near you in the weeks to come.
