AutismOne Announces Collaboration with Vaccine Injury Justice Center – Get Educated!
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 09, 2015 -- Citizens across this nation are profoundly concerned about the many recent news media stories regarding measles and vaccine exemptions. AutismOne, in conjunction with the leadership of the Vaccine Injury Justice Center, will offer education at the AutismOne/Focus for Health 2015 Conference in Chicago this May. The conference will include coverage of scientific topics underpinning vaccine injury, vaccine exemptions, and legislative advocacy questions, as well as additional lectures from credentialed scientists, physicians, and researchers on the immune system and mechanisms of illness.
Robert Krakow, JD, and Susan Lee, JD, founders of the Vaccine Injury Justice Center, will inform the public that “Vaccine Injury Occurs More Than Commonly Understood.” Mr. Krakow, referencing the House [of Representatives] Report 99-908 of the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, written into law in 1986, as well as judicial opinions of the Supreme Court of the United States and the Federal Circuit Court interpreting the Act, stated, "The policy of our government is that vaccine injury occurs and medical science does not fully understand how or why this occurs. There is no debate, therefore, about whether or not vaccine injuries occur." Robert J. Krakow, JD, will discuss the history and policy of vaccine injury and present the case for justice for the vaccine-injured. Mr. Krakow will also discuss why mandatory vaccination is an unnecessary and dangerous social policy.
In the session “Counterfeit Immunity,” Richard Moskowitz, MD (Harvard; NYU), will talk about disease mechanisms in general and those related to measles. Dr. Moskowitz will explain the difference between natural immunity and artificial/vaccine-mediated immunity.
Friday, May 22, 2015, keynote presenters pediatrician Lawrence Palevsky, MD; psychiatrist Kelly Brogan, MD; GreenMedInfo.com founder Sayer Ji; and Fearless Parent(TM) founding director Louise Kuo Habakus will cover “The V Word: New thinking on an old practice.” Said Louise Kuo Habakus, Stanford graduate and leader of Fearless Parent(TM): “Educated parents are deconstructing vaccine orthodoxy and finding that the science doesn't just come up short -- in many cases, it doesn't come up at all. It's time for a new paradigm on an old practice that increasing numbers of parents and clinicians are questioning -- do vaccines cause more harm than good? Let's take a deep dive into the facts, clinical practice, the science, and the options for parents.”
The Children’s Medical Safety Research Institute presents two scientific tracks relevant to the topic: the Aluminum Toxicity Track and the HPV Vaccine Safety Track. Lectures include French scientist Dr. Josette Cadusseau’s presentation titled “Tracking aluminum in the body: Biopersistence and migration of aluminic adjuvants of vaccines,” and Canadian scientist Dr. Lucija Tomljenovic’s talk “Mechanisms of vaccine-induced immunotoxicity relevant for the pathophysiology of autism spectrum disorders.”
Dr. Brian Hooker will discuss his efforts to reanalyze CDC datasets associated with the Destefano et al. 2004 (MMR-autism), Thompson et al. 2007 (thimerosal-neurological deficits), and Price et al. 2010 (thimerosal-autism) studies.
The VaxTruth Track, scheduled on Thursday, May 21, offers Alan Phillips, JD, an attorney dedicated to the vaccine exemption issue.
Attorney Patricia Finn will speak on current liability issues involving parents who choose not to vaccinate.
