Palm Beach Gardens, Florida (PRWEB) March 11, 2015 -- $40 million in new luxury waterfront condominium sales have been recorded at the Palm Beach Gardens community of Azure. Frankel Enterprises president, Thomas Frankel, reports that 30 out of 46 residences in Azure’s first mid-rise building have gone to contract during the first three months of marketing. The city of Palm Beach Gardens approved the project for 113 units to be built on 14 acres at the Intracoastal Waterway and Donald Ross Road.
“This sales benchmark is important for us”, says Frankel, “ It shows the strength of the South Florida luxury real estate market rebound and allows us to initiate construction ahead of projections. Most importantly, it will make it possible for Azure’s first buyers to move in earlier than expected: summer of 2016.”
Frankel’s company has completed wet and dry infrastructure on the 14 acre site, and has hired the world-renowned firm of Gilbane Construction to build the project. Construction will begin in late March.
Azure’s first phase offering was unique in the Northern Palm Beach area with condominium floor plans featuring up to 4,000 square of air-conditioned living space at prices from the $900’s to $2.3 million. Buyers favored Azure’s larger floor plans over area competitors as well as the “concierge” lifestyle to be offered.
Frankel and architects Glidden Spina Partners of West Palm Beach have begun to plan residences of 2,600 to 5,800 square feet to be offered in Azure’s second mid-rise building.
Other factors in Azure’s sales success are the project’s location one mile from the beach and PGA Boulevard shopping; a protected deep water yacht harbor with dockage for boats to 120 feet; concierge services; two resort pools and fitness centers and well appointed lobbies.
In planning Azure, he hired Bob Martin, president of Decorator’s Unlimited to design contemporary kitchens and open living spaces. Azure’s sales and information center includes a model kitchen where buyers can make flooring, cabinet, fixture and appliance selections. Frankel personally choose most of the residential features at Azure including top of the line Thermador kitchen appliances and Kohler and Grohe bath fixtures.
Knowing the value of brand recognition, Frankel hired Gilbane Construction Company, a global builder of ultra luxury condominiums and iconic public buildings such as the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, the National Capitol Visitors Center and the Vietnam War Memorial.
