Girl Scouts to Honor Women of Distinction and Young Woman of Distinction
Augusta, GA (PRWEB) March 05, 2015 -- Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia, Inc. announces the selection of three Women of Distinction who have set an example of excellence and distinguished themselves through service to their community. A luncheon in their honor will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Legends Club, 2701 Washington Road #22, Augusta, GA. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and the program will begin promptly at 12:00 p.m. Tickets are available for individual purchase for $40. Proceeds from the event help provide the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to area girls who will be our future Women of Distinction.

Audrey Murell, Executive Director of the Augusta Training Shop
Linda Tucciarone, Executive Director of Heritage Academy
2015 Young Woman of Distinction:
Callie Meadows Memorial Award: Brianna Burgess
The Girl Scouts Women of Distinction Award honors women whose lives reflect the values in the Girl Scout Promise and Law and who serve as excellent role models for girls. These women are valuable community servants, serving in leadership roles throughout the community.
