“Content marketing is one of the most effective ways for businesses to increase their online presence," said Marc Siden, Chief Executive Officer of Onboard Informatics.

Onboard Informatics, the largest and most trusted Local Data as a Service provider, announced the launch of their new Data Services and Analytics (DSA) Division today. The division will leverage Onboard’s local data technology to develop content for publishers, media outlets, and other companies looking to drive brand exposure through content.

“Content marketing is one of the most effective ways for businesses to increase their online presence," said Marc Siden, Chief Executive Officer of Onboard Informatics. “We’ve seen clients like Money Magazine and Rent.com utilize content backed by local data to attract millions of unique visitors to their sites, get pick-up from media outlets, and ultimately drive revenue. We’re thrilled to be able to expand this program and help other companies in the same way.”

While Onboard has always supported data driven stories, recent advances in technology now allow the team to leverage data models and spatial operations to expand the program while maintaining the same quality of data and accuracy standards. These advancements combined with the ever-increasing demand for more unique, sharable, relevant content, created a great opportunity for Onboard to launch DSA as part of their offering.

“Backed by local data, companies can create stories around Best Places to live, work, fall in love, invest, rent, get married, and more,” said Pete Goldey, Director, Data Services and Analytics Division. “There’s tremendous opportunity to develop content not only for generalist brands, but also in niche marketplaces created by the numerous titles in bridal, outdoors, health, retirement, parenting, home and other lifestyle categories.”

Onboard will continue expanding DSA in the coming months.
