American Institutes for Research Experts to Speak About Literacy, Data Analysis and More at Global Education Conference
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) March 06, 2015 -- American Institutes for Research (AIR) experts will participate in the 2015 annual conference of the Comparative and International Education Society (CIES), being held March 8-13 at the Washington Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C.
AIR experts are scheduled to speak about a variety of topics, including education and the Ebola crisis in Liberia, research using large-scale international data, early childhood education, data analysis, educational inequalities and student achievement, literacy in North America and mathematical achievement.
This year’s theme is “Ubuntu! Imagining a Humanist Education Globally.” Participants will tackle theoretical, empirical and practical questions in examining current systems of learning and testing at the local and global levels.
