Inmar’s Steve Dollase Speaks on Leadership During Engage Program at Innovation Quarter
Winston-Salem, NC (PRWEB) March 06, 2015 -- Inmar’s president, Supply Chain Network, joined with Alan Proctor, market president, Wells Fargo Bank, to share their perspectives on leadership at the February Engage Program at Wake Forest University Innovation Quarter.
The two leaders spoke of their visions of leadership and the experiences that shaped their approach and beliefs in this area. Both noted that rapid change in today’s marketplace is redefining the role of leaders and their challenges.
Dollase noted that the pace of commerce is moving and changing so quickly that leaders and teams must have more flexibility, agility and adaptability to be successful. The challenge, he said is, “That’s not something you can learn in a class at business school; you learn by practice, and we as leaders owe it to those who work for us to help them develop those skills.”
The recently initiated Engage Program takes place quarterly, bringing together representatives from businesses, departments and neighbors of Innovation Quarter for an engaging discussion on a common topic or theme. The next Engage program will discuss, “Passion.” Learn more on the Wake Forest Innovation Quarter website at: http://www.innovationquarter.com/news-events/.
