Legendary Cuban Musician, Tomas Diaz, Premieres "Suky" - A Song Destined to Become an International Success
Miami, Florida (PRWEB) March 07, 2015 -- Singer and Cuban music referent, Tomas Diaz is back with "Suky" a new song that contains all the elements to become an international success; a true hybrid and fusion of genres that represents and brings together the musical influences collected during his career.
Born in Matanzas, Cuba, Tomas Diaz grew upvery close to music. He was seduced at an early age by the sounds of Rock: Jimmy Hendrix' guitar, James Brown style and staging, Bob Marley's charisma and his revolutionary and pacifist spirit, without forgetting the sounds of Cuba: Celia Cruz, the Orchestra Aragon and Pello El Afrokan, while flirting with Fela Kuti's African signature style.
His musical style moves through the rhythms of Cuba to calypso, influenced by the Caribbean sounds of Dominican Republic, Haiti and Jamaica. Adding to his unique style are the amalgam of sounds and the cocktail of genres that Miami offers, where he has lived for over 30 years.
"Suky" has a life of its own: a contagious rhythm with amusing lyrics that invite listeners to dance. This upcoming March 7th at 3:00 pm ET, Tomas Diaz will perform on the Douglas Road Stage at Carnaval on the Mile, one of the most important cultural and artistic carnivals of South Florida.
