The need for quality, professional, and dependable pet care has never been more essential as most of us increasingly juggle career, family, school, and social obligations.

Canine Companion and Concierge has just launched to help pet owners give their animals the exercise, mental stimulation, and care they require to live healthy, happy lives. Services include dog walking, leash training, pet taxi transportation, in-home pet care, and overnight pet sitting in and around Dublin, Castro Valley, Pleasanton, and San Ramon.
John “Johnny” Cavalli developed Canine Companion and Concierge after retiring from a demanding 25-year career at AT&T. He knows from experience the high expectations and pressures of work life in the highly competitive Bay Area job market, and he understands how family and personal demands on time make it difficult to give pets the consistent exercise and companionship they need. Johnny will work with pet owners to arrange dog walking, pet sitting, and pet taxi services on a flexible basis that works with tight schedules. Johnny also works with best-in-class suppliers to assist with any additional services pets might need.
“The need for quality, professional, and dependable pet care has never been more essential as most of us increasingly juggle career, family, school, and social obligations,” says Johnny, who has worked with and cared for a variety of animals at home, the Oakland Petting Zoo, and multiple East Bay animal shelters. “Pets need interaction, and dogs need to stretch their legs and explore the outdoors every day. My goal is to provide an exceptional experience for both pets and owners.”
Johnny’s unique AnimalLimo, which he uses to transport pets, is equipped with brand-new restraining equipment and first-aid supplies so he can safely take pets to the dog park, veterinarian or pet groomer appointments, or anywhere else they need to go while their owners are tending to other important obligations.
“Too busy to get your pet to appointments? No problem. Let us use the AnimalLimo to transport your pet in style,” invites Johnny. “We can also pick up pet food, help secure pet licenses, and run other pet-related errands. Although it is best to book our pet taxi in advance, we accommodate same-day services as our schedule allows.”
Johnny volunteers for multiple shifts each week at the East Bay SPCA facility in Dublin, where he logged over 100 hours in the last eight months. The superb education, training, and experience Johnny has acquired, plus his recent training in pet CPR and first aid, have prepared him to provide the highest-quality pet exercise, training, and in-home pet care services. Enriching the lives of pets and providing their owners peace of mind has become his life’s work. He says his work at Canine Companion and Concierge will allow him to continue to donate his time to the shelter, a situation that might not be possible if he had to commute to work in Silicon Valley or San Francisco.
“I am starting to take on clients, but I still have a lot of room on my calendar for new pets,” said Johnny. “If you own a pet, now is a good time to call me to chat about how I can make your life easier and your pet’s life more fun.”
