Seminar Overview
A multi-disciplinary approach is increasingly prevalent in defining the digital strategy for the business. What data from inside the firewalls and from outside the enterprise are required for decisions that impact revenue and risk? What data services are available and at what cost? Participation in which emerging industry alliances on or outside Wall Street is meaningful to stay tuned, ensure compliance and reduce cost? How can quality of data be attested? Where and how will the data be maintained – on modernized storage, appliances or clouds? What tools are best used to derive business value out of them? Who will manage the data – what new roles and responsibilities need to be created to create order in ever-expanding data? How can users mitigate the security risk for data on legacy and distributed systems, archives, cloud and multi-tenant environments? How can data processes and lineages be monitored? This WSTA seminar is designed to discuss these challenges that have escalated exponentially in the recent past.
