Los Angeles International Airport and Taiwan Tourism Bureau's First Promotional Collaboration
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 06, 2015 -- Taiwan Tourism Bureau's exciting collaboration with the Los Angeles International Airport has just launched on March 1st, 2015 at the airport's newest contemporary art installation - The Time Tower located at the Tom Bradley International Terminal. For the first time ever, a promotional video that features the six major Taiwan tourism themes will be presented at the astonishing interactive media feature. This is the very first video ever to be shared at The Time Tower since LAX's renovation. Utilizing the tower's 75-foot tall, 25-foot wide surrounding ultra high definition LED walls, the Bureau hopes to impress all the American and international travelers at the airport with Taiwan's breathtaking sceneries via the strong visual impact from the 7-floor high display.
To craft a "portable" version of the Taiwan temple festival experience for travelers who have never been to Taiwan before, Taiwan Tourism Bureau invited the STC Foundation Dance Group who recently performed at Disneyland for their Lunar New Year festival; The performance showcased the “Taiwan Rocks It!” piece by the Three Techno Princes and the Taiwanese indigenous dances “On the Mountaintop”. It was an eye opening experience for the audiences who excitedly cheered for the performers at the launch event. Director General of TECO Los Angeles Office, Mr. Steve Hsia, expressed that he is "...very happy to witness Taiwan's promotional videos to be presented at the airport. In the New Year, we will strengthen our efforts in facilitating the driver’s license reciprocity agreement in Arizona State and New Mexico State. We believe that this will stimulate the tourism exchange between the American States and Taiwan."
The most popular events among international travelers - The Taiwan Lantern Festival - happens to fall into the month of March between the 5th to the 15th. To celebrate this event, Taiwan Tourism Bureau has prepared the Year of the "Ram" special edition hand-held sheep lanterns for families departing for their journey from LAX. According to Mr. Trust Lin, Director of Taiwan Tourism Bureau Los Angeles, “Taiwan Tourism promotional video showcasing at the world’s 6th largest international airport - LAX, which is also the No.1 hub to Asia in America, will tremendously enhance the Taiwan Tourism brand image as well as boosting Taiwan Tourism's sales channels. We also hope to spark the interest of international travelers to experience Taiwan through the exposure of the enticing promotional video, festive dance performance and the lovely lantern giveaways."
“Today, Taiwan Tourism provided wonderful excitement for the outbound travelers at LAX’s Tom Bradley International Terminal. The lucky travelers who were on-site were entertained by the amazing dancers paying tribute to the 2015 Lantern Festival,” stated Randy Bernstein, President of JCDecaux Airport Sponsorships after he attended the Taiwan tourism promotional event for the first time. He was very impressed by the positive responses from travelers and the press at the event and further added, “In addition to the beautiful dance performance, passengers, guests and media were wowed by the beautiful visual tribute to Taiwan on the impressive Time Tower in the center of the concourse.” He strongly believes that the effective advertisement of Time Tower will bring a lot more international travelers to Taiwan.
