An Organization Dedicated to Health was Featured on NewsWatch Television on February 26, 2015
(PRWEB) March 10, 2015 -- “Focus for Health” was featured on NewsWatch as part of its monthly Health Watch, which features the latest health related products and services available to consumers. Susan Bridges, a health expert and host of NewsWatch, conducted the review, and shared with viewers the foundation’s mission to increase awareness of the connection between hazardous environmental exposures, the immune system, and quality of health.
One of the more spirited debates over the last few years is the dramatic decline in overall health in this country. The proof is in the numbers. Center for Disease Control and Prevention found that approximately 1 in 68 children have been diagnosed with autism, and many more suffer from other forms of chronic disease. Thankfully, there’s Focus for Health, an organization that’s primarily dedicated to funding the education, investigation, advocacy and research that reveals the causes of the autism epidemic, as well as the rise of chronic illness in our country.
Barry Segal, the Founder and Board Member of Focus for Health, recently sat down with NewsWatch to discuss his perspective on childhood health. Segal explains, “You have all types of chronic illness growing. My feeling is that if you know certain children are vulnerable, you can’t take a chance and vaccinate them carelessly.” Adverse effects to vaccines or other environmental exposures can range from a skin rash to irreparable harm or even death.
Focus for Health uses scientific research to help educate families, legislators, and health care providers. Through investigation and education, they are encouraging people to find solutions to create healthier environments. Their mission is to protect the pediatric population and avoid preventable health issues.
