UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School to Host Business Cares Golf Classic on April 17

UNC Kenan-Flagler will host the golf tournament to support local charities that provide support and resources for children battling serious illnesses.

The University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School will host its 23rd annual charity golf tournament April 17 at the UNC Finley Golf Club.

The Business Cares Golf Classic is the primary fundraiser for Business Cares, the School’s strategic and innovative program of philanthropic support for local non-profit organizations. It will support them through fundraising, using the business expertise of faculty, staff and students to help them achieve their missions, and collaborating on projects.

Funds raised from the tournament will benefit three local charities that provide support and resources for children battling serious illnesses for 2014-15:

  •     UNC Children’s Hospital
  •     Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill
  •     Super Cooper’s Little Red Wagon Foundation

The Business Cares Golf Classic is presented by Adobe.

Other sponsors include Wells Fargo, 2U and PwC. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available.

For $150 per golfer – with a student rate of $100 – or $500 per foursome, golfers can compete in the tournament. Included in the tax-deductible donation is a round of golf, unlimited access to the driving range and putting greens, a box lunch, on-course beverages and refreshments, and a thank-you bag.
Registration will be held from 8:30-10 a.m. and golfers will have access to the driving range and putting greens from 8:30-10 a.m. The shotgun start will at 10 a.m. and awards will be given at 3 p.m.
