We think friendly competition and social interaction are a good combination, one which will hold appeal for just about any of the adults at Lakewood Park.
Lexington, KY (PRWEB) March 11, 2015
With the fervent hope that winter weather is finally over, Lexington residents are gearing up for outdoor activities. Some are anxious to end their social hibernation and make new acquaintances. For residents of Lakewood Park Apartment Homes on Laketower Drive, these objectives are being supported by the financial resources and community development efforts of the Andover Management Group.
"We're always looking for ways to foster friendships among our residents," said Property Manager Brad Rose. "This year for the first time we are sponsoring involvement in the Lexington Sports & Social Club, a group which organizes recreational sports leagues and social activities for people over 21. It's a great way for Lakewood people to get to know each other, but more than that, it's a way for them to network with other young professionals in the community," Rose said.
The Lexington Sports & Social Club offers leagues in a wide variety of warm-weather sports -- kickball, softball, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and tennis -- all with the objective of providing exercise and fun regardless of skill level or athletic ability. "We think friendly competition and social interaction are a good combination, one which will hold appeal for just about any of the adults at Lakewood Park. And to prove that anyone can do it, we on the office staff have signed up to participate on teams as well!" Rose said.
Residents have received information about Andover Management's team sponsorship, and many have already beat the March 11 deadline for the first spring leagues of the Lexington Sports & Social Club. Those who want to participate on these teams or others in the coming months are encouraged to visit the Lakewood Park's office to find out more about this sponsorship program offered by the Andover Management Group in appreciation of the apartment community's residents.
"Resident appreciation events are important to our management team, and they're always well received by the Lakewood Park population," Rose said. "Whether they're cookouts by the pool or free food and drink at a local pub, the activities we plan are geared to let folks know how happy we are they choose to live at Lakewood Park and how important it is to us that they're happy living in Lexington."
