RiVidium Receives SBA 8(a) Business Development Program Certification
MANASSAS, VIRGINIA (PRWEB) March 10, 2015 -- "Receiving certification in the 8(a) program gives RiVidium a great opportunity to continue to develop as well as broaden our teaming possibilities," said Manny Rivera, RiVidium President/CEO. "With 8(a) certification, we can compete in more government contracting actions, which will add to RiVidium’s strategic plan, growth, and our ability to bring jobs to our community."
The SBA 8(a) program fosters the business development of companies owned and led by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. To obtain certification, an applicant firm must be an SBA-defined small business unconditionally owned and controlled by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged individuals of good character who are US citizens and have demonstrated a potential for success. The certification gives RiVidium the opportunity to bid on contracts set aside by federal agencies for SBA 8(a) program participants.
Established in 2008, RiVidium adds the SBA 8(a) certification to its CVE-certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) designation. RiVidium provides USG and private sector clients a range of technology-related and HCM services, to include project and program management, business process reengineering (BPR), enterprise architecture, cloud computing, application development change management, Human Resources and HR Information System (HRIS) solutions, workforce management, and business intelligence solutions.
