San Francisco’s Ride The Ducks Welcomes Chris Connors as its New General Manager
San Francisco, California (PRWEB) March 12, 2015 -- Ride The Ducks, San Francisco’s only land and sea attraction, is pleased to announce Chris Connors as its new general manager. Connors, who joined the team in October of 2014, brings his extensive background in the cultural attraction industry to the organization, having worked at some of the top zoos and aquariums in the United States.
Prior to his role at Ride The Ducks, Connors led as the chief operating officer at Aquarium of the Bay in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf. Additionally, Connors served as the past president of the Fisherman’s Wharf Merchant Association and currently resides as the chair of the marketing committee for the Fisherman’s Wharf Community Benefit District Board.
In his new role as general manager, Connors will oversee operations of Ride The Ducks, as well the organization’s sister company, Classic Cable Car Charters of San Francisco. Connors welcomed the opportunity to engage in a new sector of the hospitality industry, now taking on the responsibility of managing two very different transportation businesses.
