The American Red Cross continues to expand their strategic alliance with Direct Line Tele Response to include urgent/emergency dispatching services for an additional 24 counties within the State of California.

The American Red Cross continues to expand their strategic alliance with Direct Line Tele Response to include urgent/emergency dispatching services for an additional 24 counties within the State of California. Direct Line is now responsible for over 30 counties including Los Angeles County, as well as providing services for all counties located in Oregon and Washington State.

Direct Line President, Ken Goldenberg, says, “It is an honor to be an extension of the American Red Cross. We take pride in providing services that assist our communities.”

In a statement made by Meredith Terrell, Sr. Disaster Program Manager for the American Red Cross, “The Direct Line staff literally assisted us in developing our dispatching infrastructure for our First Responders. Without Direct Line we would not be able to provide the level of service necessary or the responsiveness expected by the communities we serve.”

Steven Hancock, Director of Disaster Services, recently expressed his gratitude to Direct Line regarding their responsiveness, accuracy, and professionalism in handling the urgent/emergency dispatching of calls during the Asiana Airline incident at the San Francisco International Airport. Hancock stated, “The staff at Direct Line went above and beyond service delivery expectations, answering heightened call volume, adjusting call scripts as needed and taking nonstandard directions on where to direct calls. All of this was done in a professional manner, providing callers excellent customer service.”
