New Hope Recovery Center is pleased to announce that President and Clinical Director, Jeff Zacharias, has been awarded the 2015 Illinois Social Worker of the Year by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). This award recognizes work promoting the social work profession and the people it serves.
Mr. Zacharias has worked extensively in the fields of mental health and addiction, helping those individuals and families who are affected by the disease, with a particular focus on the LGBTQI community. "I am grateful and honored to receive this award. As an openly gay man, I am particularly committed to helping those in the LGBTQI community be well in all aspects of their lives," Jeff Zacharias commented.
Mr. Zacharias' commitment to the LGBTQI community is evidenced by New Hope Recovery Center being certified as the only NGLCC certified LGBT-owned addiction treatment facility in the United States. New Hope Recovery Center offers a complete continuum of addiction care including Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient and on-going After Care.
