Galileo Performance Explorer Adds NetApp and VMware Agents to Infrastructure Performance Monitoring Suite
Malvern, PA (PRWEB) March 11, 2015 -- Galileo Performance Explorer™— the industry’s first easy-to-use, cloud-based integrated infrastructure performance management (IPM) suite for servers, storage and applications, developed by the ATS Group, has added new agents for NetApp Storage Filers and VMware virtualized environments as well as new features for monitoring IBM Storwize systems.
• The new agent for NetApp Filers monitors the state of filer devices and enables access to critical configuration information from redundant array of inexpensive disk (RAID) Groups, logical unit numbers (LUNs), and storage fiber and network ports. Additionally, Galileo’s At-a-Glance Virtual Group and Disk Usage allow customization of dashboard parameters, views of disk usage and trend reporting of capacity usage.
• The new agent for VMware helps pinpoint configuration issues, locate exhausted or underutilized resources, and isolate problems by easily accessing common configuration information, within VMware virtualized environments. The At-a-Glance Cluster enables Host level and virtual machine (VM) level statistics and also allows customized GUI dashboards and view configuration and capacity data for each level within any VMware virtual environment.
• With new and enhanced configuration details for IBM Storwize devices, critical performance information can now be displayed via Array tables, Port tables, Mdisk tables, Vdisk tables, and Drive Configuration tables. Additionally reports can be generated that track overall data capacity, thin provisioning usage, compression usage, and more.
More details on these agents and features are available from Galileo’s website.
“Within the Galileo Suite, infrastructure such as NetApp Filer, VMware and IBM Storwize systems can be proactively monitored from an integrated management console. Customers can quickly and easily improve decision-making with monitoring and granular performance data that reduces the chance for systemic issues that can result in costly downtime,” says Tim Conley, Principal and Co-Founder of Galileo and the ATS Group. Included in Galileo’s product roadmap is performance monitoring agents and feature enhancements for IBM’s iSeries system, EMC, Brocade SAN, Cisco SAN, Hitachi, Oracle and other IT infrastructure.
All Galileo capabilities are accessible for evaluation via a Free 30-Day Trial program or by requesting a personal demonstration. Contact Galileo for tiered flexible pricing information.
