Global functional additive manufacturer Total Cray Valley will be introducing Dymalink® 9100, the first in a new class of additives for improved mechanical properties in polyethylene, at NPE2015: The International Plastics Showcase. Plastics formulation experts from Cray Valley will be exhibiting the new product at booth S23015. The show takes place March 23-27 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
Dymalink 9100 was developed by Cray Valley as an additive to improve mechanical properties in polyethylene such as yield strength, impact, modulus, and heat deflection temperature (HDT) without significantly affecting density. The fast crystallization of polyethylene has typically limited nucleation as a way to improve mechanical properties. The low loading levels of Dymalink 9100 provide the first way to improve these properties without significantly increasing polyethylene density.
