WattzOn, a leading provider of web and mobile tools that help people save energy and money, has signed on as a collaborator in the Georgetown University Energy Prize, a national incentive competition for communities across America to reduce their energy consumption. Through the collaboration, Georgetown University and WattzOn will transform America's energy landscape by spurring innovative new models of community-wide energy efficiency that can be replicated and scaled across the country.
WattzOn will be working alongside Georgetown University students and faculty, as well as other public and private organizations, to support and advance the 50 communities currently competing in the Semifinalist stage of the Georgetown University Energy Prize. These communities hail from all parts of the U.S.—from Fairbanks, Alaska to Winter Park, Florida, and from Chula Vista, California to Chattanooga, Tennessee—and have worked hard to make it to this phase of the competition.
