Integrated Geophysics Corporation (IGC) Releases Gravity and Magnetics Glossary App for iPhone and Android
Houston, TX (PRWEB) March 12, 2015 -- Integrated Geophysics Corporation (IGC) announced today the IGC Gravity and Magnetics Glossary is now available for download at the AppStore on iTunes and Google Play. The IGC Glossary is an oil and gas reference dictionary intended for readers not versed in potential fields terminology. Geophysical potential theory is the study of the Earth’s gravitational and geomagnetic fields used during interpretations in oil and gas exploration and production.
The app was prepared after noticing the most visited page on the IGC website (http://www.igcworld.com) was the Gravity and Magnetics Glossary. The new app is the first of series of mobile applications IGC are preparing to assist in the use of gravity and magnetics interpretation.
The new app has been accepted and passed the guideline standards of both Apple and Android. The free app is available today at the AppStore on iTunes and Google Play. Operating system (OS) requirements for Apple OS are iOS 6.0 or later and are compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
