Nick Macris Joins mOasis as Director of Sales and Marketing
Union City, CA (PRWEB) March 12, 2015 -- mOasis (http://www.mOasisGel.com), announced that it is welcoming Nick Macris to its growing management team as Director of Sales and Marketing for U.S. markets.
Nick will be managing sales and marketing activities for the overall U.S. marketplace, and will initially be focusing on commercialization and sales of the company’s BountiGel® soil moisture management product to growers in California and Arizona.
Nick’s experience commercializing new technologies includes working with Marrone Bio Innovations, Inc. in a global business development and manufacturing capacity in the area of biological pest control. During his tenure, he was involved in the launch and expansion of Marrone’s Regalia® Bio-Fungicide into Europe, Africa, Middle East, and South America. He also worked as an Industry Manager for FMC Corporation, and served as Business Development Manager for Rohm and Haas Corporation, where he was tasked with searching for biological pesticides to license or acquire. He has an M.E.Sc. degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration, both from Western University in Canada.
