My son loves mixing sounds on his DJ Controller!

"Casio” was featured on NewsWatch as part of its monthly Tech Report, which takes a look at the latest and coolest technology products and services available to consumers. Scott Steinberg, a special reporter for NewsWatch and a technology expert, conducted the app review and shared with viewers how they just released Trackformer, a new series of DJ equipment.
Casio released their first electronic keyboard in 1980. And for the past 30 years, the internationally recognized electronics manufacturing company has released contemporary music equipment for consumers. This year has been no different for Casio, especially with the unveiling of a new line of DJ equipment.
The innovative company unveiled the Transformer series for DJs and aspiring musicians at CES 2015. The series included two new products, the XW-DJ1 DJ Controller and the XW-PD1 Groove Center. The two devices are for fans to create their own sounds, mix their own music, produce and play like the pros. However, they were designed for different levels of difficulty.
The DJ Controller was designed with the beginner DJ in mind. It’s more for children because it’s extremely portable. The device has a built in speaker, it runs off of batteries, but it still can scratch and do mostly everything that a studio DJ controller could do.
The Groove Center is a little different but it’s for the more intermediate user. It has pads that can be used to generate different sounds, and it’s all around just a little more advanced than the DJ Controller. The DJ Controller has an MSRP of $299.00 and the Groove Center at $399.00.
