School software provider, InfoMentor, has partnered with Rising Stars to provide their Progression Frameworks to schools using their planning, assessing, tracking and reporting system.
Rising Stars is an award-winning publisher of books, resources and software that support teaching and learning across the curriculum. As the leading publisher of assessment resources for primary schools, Rising Stars offers a range of assessment products to support formative and summative assessment of the new National Curriculum Programmes of Study, across the core subjects of English, maths and science.
Rising Stars worked with Cornwall Learning to produce rigorous Progression Frameworks to replace the system of levels and provide schools with a new ladder of progression for these subjects. The whole-school frameworks allow teachers to track pupil progress against the new National Curriculum for Years 1 to 6, with progression statements for each year group. There are links to the NAHT's Key Performance Indicators which make it easy for schools using these to find the associated 'What to look for' guidance. All schools can now access these frameworks within InfoMentor.
