Greenberg Traurig’s Jeff Joyner to Co-Host e4 Mobility Alliance Roundtable Discussion on Autonomous Vehicles at Firm’s Los Angeles Office
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) March 12, 2015 -- Jeff Joyner, an Intellectual Property & Technology shareholder at international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP and co-chair of the e4 Mobility Alliance, along with Michael Boehm and Rick Teebay, and JoAnne Stewart of the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation, will co-host a roundtable discussion on autonomous vehicles at Greenberg Traurig’s Los Angeles office from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. PT March 12, 2015.
According to their website, the e4 Mobility Alliance is a coalition of industry leaders, government, policy makers, education, research and development, workforce development, and support organizations throughout Southern California whose goal is to grow a robust advanced transportation industry in Southern California. The roundtable discussion will discuss the topic of autonomous vehicles and the industry in the Los Angeles area.
Joyner advises and is a limited partner of one of the first clean technology venture funds that has a portfolio of solar, water purification, smart water meter, energy efficiency, distributed power, and bio pesticide companies. He also advises other companies using technologies for solar, wind, biomass, solar thermal, waste-to-energy, renewable fuels, green building material, transportation, infrastructure, and smart grid projects. He has been very active in serving as outside general counsel to CleanTech businesses whose goals are start-up funding, public offerings, incentives, grants, joint venture partners, acquisition and protection of intellectual property. In this role, Joyner uses his vast experience with government affairs as well as the protection, exploitation and enforcement of patents, trademarks, trade dress, and copyrights throughout the United States and abroad.
Joyner is on the leadership council of the Los Angeles CleanTech Incubator (LACI) and was on the board of directors for CleanTech Los Angeles until it merged with LACI. He is also a co-founder and co-chair of the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation’s e4Mobility Alliance and is on several advisory boards including the U.S.-China CleanTech Center and the e4 Advanced Transportation Center.
