The Brooks Group, providers of best-in-class sales training and sales management training for companies around the world, received the Bronze Stevie® Award for 2015 Sales Training Practice of the Year during a gala banquet at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada February 27. This marks the 9th annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service, and it is the fifth year in a row that The Brooks Group was named a big winner at the ceremony.
The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service is the world’s top recognition for customer service, contact center, business development and sales professionals. Nearly 2,000 entries were submitted by organizations competing for a spot on the podium this year.

Every year, the Stevie Awards event grows and becomes more challenging to be named as a finalist. Entries have doubled in the past three years, and were up 27% this year over last. The judges certainly had their work cut out for them.
“From November through early February, more than 190 professionals around the world reviewed and rated the more than 1,900 entries that were submitted by organizations in 34 nations,” said Michael Gallagher, President of The Stevie Awards. “Slightly more than 40% of the entries they rated received average scores high enough to qualify as Finalists, all of which will be recognized tonight as Gold, Silver or Bronze Stevie Award winners.”
Finalists were determined by the average scores of 139 professionals worldwide during two months of first-round judging. Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements were determined in final judging by members of seven specialized committees.
“While this is such an honor, quite frankly, we consider it a privilege to help other businesses create sustainable success,” Brooks added. “It’s not just our mission, it’s our passion. And seeing it happen, and being a big part of it… that is our greatest reward of all.”
