Vector Data today announces the availability of customized storage appliances for harsh and critical environments featured in the telecom, military & defense, and oil & gas industries.

Offered in both AC and DC power options, the Vault V-Series appliances feature NEBS Level 3 (ATT-TP-76200) and ETSI certifications among many others, allowing an operator to deploy a consistent storage product across the entire network. The products also include fan filters for dust protection, earthquake-proof rackmount kits, and wide operating temperature ranges for harsh environments.

Able to offer both SAN and NAS functionality in one, the Vault V-Series appliances offer superior performance, capacity optimization, and comprehensive storage management functionality, including the benefits of SSDs. The systems also dramatically simplify the deployment and management of virtualized applications.
