Southwest Alliance for Excellence Announces Partnership with to Provide Lean Six Sigma Training

Web-based Training Available to Achieve and Sustain Excellence

We’re enthused to join other members of the Alliance for Performance Excellence across the country in offering’s curriculum.

The Southwest Alliance for Excellence (SWAE) recently announced that it would offer Lean Six Sigma training as part of its efforts to bring valuable professional development opportunities to its members. SWAE is the administrator of the Performance Excellence Program in Arizona, Nevada, and Utah, modeled after the Baldrige National Performance Excellence Program.

Members may enroll in a variety of online process improvement courses ranging from the introductory Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, intended for individual process improvement team members; to the Green Belt course, intended for project team leaders; to the advanced Black Belt course, which entails comprehensive training in the Lean Six Sigma body of knowledge. Additional short courses such as Lean Methods and Fundamentals of Project Management are also available.

SWAE members can receive discounted pricing for the training. SWAE’s enhanced offering is made possible through an agreement with serves a global clientele and has been a long time partner with the American Society for Quality (ASQ) who assists in administering the Baldrige Performance Excellence Award program. The company is also an approved global education provider with the Project Management Institute (PMI).

In making the announcement, SWAE’s Executive Director, Karen Shepard, commented: “Our members need cost-effective, flexible training programs that will help them to achieve and sustain performance excellence at the process and organizational levels.
