Most vendors participate at these type of events to generate leads, and sure—we’re there to do that. But we’re also considering #AIIM2015 as a chance to gain some great insight.
ANAHEIM, CA (PRWEB) March 16, 2015
Axis Technical Group—a trusted business IT advisor to companies in the mortgage, title, energy, healthcare, and financial services industries—will exhibit at the AIIM International Conference 2015 in San Diego.
During the conference, Axis will introduce its “Axis AI” advanced data extraction software. Axis AI extracts essential data from structured, unstructured, and semi-structured documents with unmatched speed and accuracy. It reduces or eliminates the need to manually enter and validate data from multiple sources, freeing up valuable resources to focus on other critical initiatives.
“This is the first time for Axis to exhibit at the premier event for Information Management Professionals, and we could not be more thrilled,” says Greg Lovett, Axis CEO. “AIIM has as reputation for bringing the leading technology professionals in the document management arena together, and we are looking forward to being a part of this.”
Axis will be showcasing Axis AI’s unique method of data extraction and capture, which uses technologies including Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. This isn’t your traditional zonal recognition or template driven scanning application, which actually doesn’t work too well on the complex document formats typical of unstructured content.
Mark Werner, Axis’s Sr. VP of Product Management and Research & Development, will facilitate a roundtable discussion on challenges and invite guests to share their experiences addressing and solving this critical topic in regard to unstructured information capture. “We aren’t just going to AIIM to show off what we can do. We’re there to hear about the real-world challenges folks are experiencing when tasked with managing the massive volumes of unstructured content.”
“This challenge for document management solutions has created a market for data entry shops to analyze, classify, index, and store this information into more structured database-driven DMS solutions. With offshoring offering reasonable price-effective solutions, many companies have settled on this being the only practical solution.” Mark says, “However, is this the most affordable, scalable, secure, and flexible option? Some forward-thinking organizations have turned to the few software solutions available specifically designed to search unstructured data and extract relevant content, but how much success have they seen and where are the big wins? We are thrilled to facilitate the conversation; there’s a lot to still learn about this area of document management. The AIIM attendees including IT managers, directors, departmental heads, and end users are the most familiar with the issues; it’s going to be a rewarding and enlightening discussion.”
Mike Valdes, President and Founder of Axis, says, “Most vendors participate at these type of events to generate leads, and sure—we’re there to do that. But we’re also considering #AIIM2015 as a chance to gain some great insight. We’re not just sending in our Sales and Marketing team; we’re flying in the CEO, president, and heads of R&D to attend. There’s no better place than this conference to network with the unique tribe of industry leaders that make up the AIIM community.”
