Introducing Pacbrake's P-67 LoadLeash Engine Brake

Share Article

Engine brakes aren't just for big rigs anymore. Designed for the heavy hauler, the LoadLeash engine brake provides almost double what the VGT can supply alone.

With today’s trucks capable of towing/hauling up to 30,000 lbs, it has never been more apparent for the need of additional control or stopping power.

Quick, controlled braking for heavy duty RAM trucks just got easier with the introduction of Pacbrake’s P-67 LoadLeash engine brake. Working in conjunction with the factory installed Variable Geometry Turbo (VGT) exhaust brake in the 6.7L ISB Cummins diesel engine, the Pacbrake LoadLeash provides an additional 150 retarding horsepower, or roughly double what the VGT can supply alone. In addition to enhanced control and reduced brake fade, the LoadLeash can extend brake life service intervals by up to 300%.

The P-67 LoadLeash provides big-rig engine braking performance while utilizing a simplified design and straightforward bolt-on integration. It is the only true engine brake available for the Class 3-5 truck market, and is virtually silent so it allows use anywhere you roll.

Current applications include 2007-2015 Dodge Ram 2500-5500 diesel pick-up/chassis cab trucks and Sterling chassis cab trucks equipped with the ISB 6.7L Cummins diesel engine.
