Mother Nature always bats last
Liberty, MO (PRWEB) March 18, 2015
Spectrum Weather and Specialty Insurance, Inc., the leading domestic broker of rain insurance, snow insurance, event cancellation insurance, and other event-related insurance products, will attend the annual International Association of Fairs and Expositions’ Zone Four meeting, to be held in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, March 23-25, 2015. Members of the host organization consist of fairs, festivals, and other events in the states of South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, as well as the Canadian provinces of Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and western Ontario. Spectrum’s President, Robert Holmes will be in attendance for the entire duration of the three-day event.
This convention will mark the second year in which a representative from Spectrum has attended. “We come to these events to personally meet with and educate fair and festival board and committee members about the rain insurance, weather insurance, and event cancellation insurance solutions available when working with an independent broker that specializes in these types of coverage options”, says Holmes. He adds that there have been new markets and products introduced in recent years, which may not be available through more traditional and local insurance agents, as these typically utilize a single carrier in an attempt to meet their client’s needs. There are several carriers with additional products available that go far beyond the standard rain insurance policy. Working with a specialist such as Spectrum allows access to these additional solutions, and may simultaneously save the client money. Holmes notes that although event preparation and readiness are essential, “Mother Nature always bats last.”
Spectrum was established with the goal of providing rain insurance, event cancellation insurance, snow insurance, and other specialty insurance solutions that are simple to understand and purchase, and with the highest degree of customer service in the industry. Spectrum serves events both large and small, including fairs, festivals, concerts, and other outdoor events impacted by weather. In addition to rain insurance, Spectrum provides liability insurance for events, as well as insurance for weather-based promotions. Spectrum also provides snow insurance to help protect against extremes in winter snowfall for snow removal contractors, prize indemnity insurance for hole-in-one, half-court shot, and similar contests, as well as weather promotion insurance.
