The Women’s Leadership Institute at The Manhattanville School of Business Announces Exciting Spring Series

(PRWEB) March 16, 2015 -- The Women’s Leadership Institute at The Manhattanville School of Business, supported by PepsiCo, has announced a series of events as part of its leadership development programming. The Women’s Leadership Institute is the first of its kind at an academic institution in Westchester and surrounding areas, offering a unique academic certificate program, mentoring, coaching, and training opportunities.
Upcoming events include:
• Workshop: Balanced Leadership for Women: Live Life Inspired!
Monday, March 30, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Cost: $125/person (includes assessment, materials, and lunch)
This interactive one-day workshop will define and articulate enhanced methods of leading, working, being, and contributing more holistically in the workplace. The program, co-facilitated by Kathy D'Agostino, CVI-certified coach/trainer and certified professional coach, and Kathy Meany, director, Women's Leadership Institute, will individually coach women leaders on ways to leverage their experiences as they take control of their career development.
By the end of the program, participants should be able to determine a clear singular leadership style; develop a disciplined approach to innovative and critical thinking; demonstrate ways to sustain results with greater impact and purpose; and learn how to lead through continual change and evolution while inspiring and engaging others.
• Panel Discussion: Being the Boss

Moderated by News 12 Westchester’s Janine Rose, a panel of powerful female leaders will share their experiences and lessons learned on topics such as risk-taking, negotiation, asking for help, self-confidence, and building relationships.

The full-day summit will also include workshops, a panel discussion, networking, action planning, and a continental breakfast and lunch.
