Vestavia Hills School District (AL) Partners with InfoSnap to Implement a Comprehensive Online Student Registration Solution with Payment Management Services
Austin, Texas (PRWEB) March 17, 2015 -- Vestavia Hills School District in Alabama will implement a customized online solution for student registration. The 6,700 student district partnered with InfoSnap to implement a streamlined solution for new and annual student registration through seamless integration between InfoSnap and Vestavia Hill’s student information system (SIS), InformationNOW (iNOW), from STI.
“Prior to partnering with InfoSnap, our district utilized a system that required parents to come in-person to the schools during the summer to register their students. We wanted to give our families a system that would allow them to register for school and still enjoy their summer vacations,” said Whit McGhee, spokesperson for Vestavia Hills.
The online solution from InfoSnap will provide families with an efficient method for enrolling and registering their child/children at their own convenience. Families who have more than one child within the district can ‘snap’ data from one student to another. The use of SmartForm™ technology, an intuitive tool built into the solution, will collect relevant data based on previously entered information or choices (grade, activities, medical history, etc.).

The data submitted by families are reviewed, polished, and formatted to meet Vestavia Hill’s policies and then delivered into the district’s iNOW student information system. This will improve the accuracy of data collected on an annual basis. In addition, InfoSnap’s Language Localization functionality will meet the need of this diverse population by providing multilingual forms to families.
Vestavia Hills will also implement InfoSnap’s Payment Management Service which will allow administrators to easily collect and report on all fees and donations at the time of form submission.
